The Board of Trustees for the School District #2, Mineral County, State of Montana, will hold the Annual Regular School Election on Tuesday, May 5th of 2026, which is not less than 145 days after the passage of this resolution.

The purpose of the election is to elect 2 (two) trustees for a three-year term.
Interested candidates must sign and acknowledge a Declaration of Intent before a Notary Public before Monday, February 9th. Forms can be requested at the Alberton School District Office, 306 Railroad Avenue, Alberton MT, 59820, during school business hours, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. To set up a time for notarization, contact District Clerk Chelsea Johns at cjohns@alberton.k12.mt.us.
If it is later determined that any portion of the election is not required, the Board of Trustees authorizes Kelann McLees, election administrator, to cancel that portion of the election in accordance with 13-1-304 and 20-30313, MCA.
The following voting locations will be used for the election, and three electors of this district who are qualified to vote at such election are hereby appointed to act as judges at the election at each voting place as follows:
