Horatio Alger National Scholarship Program
The eligibility criteria to be considered for this $20,000 National Scholarship are as follows:

  • enrollment full time as a high school senior, progressing normally toward graduation in the Spring/Summer 2021, with plans to enter college no later than the fall following graduation;

  • a strong commitment to pursuing and completing a bachelor's degree at an accredited institution located in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution. Idaho, Louisiana, and Montana state scholarship recipients must pursue and complete a degree at specific colleges and universities. Please see the individual program description for those requirements);

  • critical financial need ($50,000 or less adjusted gross income per family is preferred, if higher explanation must be provided);

  • involvement in co-curricular and community activities;

  • demonstrated integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity

  • a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0; and

  • United States Citizenship.

Coca-Cola Foundation Scholarship

Prudential Spirit of Community Award

Jack Kent Cooke College Scholarship Program

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program is a new undergraduate scholarship program available to high-performing high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's best four-year colleges and universities. Selected from a nationwide pool of applicants, up to 40 students will become Jack Kent Cooke Scholars and have access to funding for up to four years for undergraduate studies.

Each award is intended to cover a significant share of the student’s educational expenses – including tuition, living expenses, books and required fees. Awards vary by individual, based on the cost of tuition as well as other grants or scholarships he or she may receive.

This highly competitive scholarship includes:

Hagan Scholarship Foundation Scholarship
This is a nationwide, need based, merit scholarship for high achieving students who require financial assistance in order to attend college. 350 scholarships will be awarded each year. Criteria: 3.5 GPA, ACT score or 23 or higher or SAT score of 1200 or higher, enrolling in a four year college in the fall of 2019, must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of each academic year, EFC must be less than $6500, must apply for Federal and State grants, and must not have been convicted of a felony. Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) Scholarships
Each year, the foundation gives out $2,500 scholarships to an exceptional group of rural students for their first year of college or vocational school. Additionally, several named scholarships are given to a select group of the qualified 1,500 applicants. All applicants require sponsorship by an NTCA—The Rural Broadband Association member company to be eligible. Blackfoot is a participating sponsor.

The Gates Millennium Scholars Program
Who’s Eligible?
Students are eligible to be considered for a GMS scholarship if they meet all of the following criteria:

  • Are African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American* or Hispanic American

  • Are a citizen, national or legal permanent resident of the United States

  • Have attained a cumulative high school GPA of 3.3 on an unweighted 4.0 scale or have earned a GED

  • Will enroll for the first time at a U.S. located, accredited*** college or university (with the exception of students concurrently pursuing a high school diploma) in the fall of 2019 as a full-time, degree-seeking, first-year student. First-time college enrollees can also be GED recipients.

  • Have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities

  • Meet the Federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria

  • Have completed and submitted all three required forms: the student’s application (Nominee Personal Information Form), an evaluation of the student’s academic record (Nominator Form) and an evaluation of the student’s community service and leadership activities(Recommender Form) by the deadline

KFC Colonel's Scholars Program
To qualify, graduating high school seniors must: Earn a min. GPA of 2.75; Enroll in a public college or university within their state of legal residence; Plan to pursue a bachelor's degree; Be a U.S. citizen; Demonstrate financial need.

Washington Crossing Foundation Scholarship
$1000-$7500 will be awarded to high school seniors through this competition. Students planning on careers of service to the United States in local, state, or federal government are encouraged to apply.

Award amount is $6,000 and can be renewable. Must have a GPA of at least 3.5; Apply and be accepted at one of the NCCE Partner Colleges or Universities. The NCCE encourages minority and female students, as well as students interested in science, math, engineering, and technology.

The Lowe's Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements and Additional Information: This scholarship requires a minimum GPA of 3.25 in order to be considered. QuestBridge College Prep Scholarship Program

  • For Juniors!

  • The College Prep Scholarship equips students with the knowledge necessary to compete for admission to top colleges and benefit from these colleges' generous financial aid. The program provides more than 1,000 awards to outstanding low-income high school juniors.

  • Awards include full scholarships to summer programs at leading colleges, individualized college admissions counseling, invitations to QuestBridge College Admissions Conferences at Stanford and Yale, and all-expense-paid visits to top college campuses.

  • QuestBridge offers Quest for Excellence Awards as part of the College Prep Scholarship. These awards include laptop computers and full scholarships to college summer programs.

  • The 2015 College Prep Scholarship application is now open.

U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship Program
Available to high school seniors and college undergraduates. Forty $1000 scholarships will be awarded to students who sign up on their website at www.usbank.com/scholarship. Scholarships are picked at random with no minimum GPA.

2020 Student View Scholarship Program
(1) $4,000, (2) $1,000, (8) $500 scholarships-Offered to high school seniors. No SAT/ACT score or GPA, no essay, no lengthy application forms, and no application fees.

Healthy Lifestyles Scholarship
