Kindergarten Teacher
Alberton School District is looking for a Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Alberton is an ELP-12th grade rural school district with 150 students. We have small class sizes, a four day school week, and a close knit staff working every day to best support our students. We have strong MTSS structures and PLCs monthly to support student and staff growth. We are dedicated to supporting the whole child at Alberton giving students many opportunities to excel in all areas.
K-12 Music Teacher
Alberton School District is seeking a K–12 Music Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This position may be part-time or full-time, depending on candidate interest and district needs.
Position Overview
The K–12 Music Teacher will:
Provide engaging general music instruction at the elementary level
Develop and teach middle school and high school music courses (choral, band, music appreciation, guitar, music technology, etc.) — with freedom to help design and choose MS/HS offerings
Prepare students for school and community performances
Foster a lifelong appreciation for music across all grade levels
Our music room is fully equipped with instruments and materials to support a comprehensive K–12 program. We are looking for an educator who will not only inspire students during the school day, but also actively engage the community through concerts, performances, and potentially private or small-group music lessons.
Professional collaboration is strong within our district. Staff work together in PLCs, and we value creativity, initiative, and relationship-building.
Assistant Cook
Alberton School is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Assistant Cook to join our team!
We are a small, close-knit ELP–12th grade district serving approximately 160 students and 40 staff members, offering a supportive and positive work environment. Our school operates on a four-day school week, providing a great work-life balance.

Help prepare and serve homemade breakfast and lunch daily
Assist in providing fresh fruit and vegetable snacks for students
Work as part of a collaborative and caring team
