In November of 2021, the 7-8 STEM class started researching the Petty Creek bighorn sheep near our school in Alberton, MT. After that, we brainstormed ideas about how to raise awareness and decided to produce a documentary. This documentary “Out on a Ledge” is about our work to better understand the Petty Creek bighorn sheep, their relationship with pneumonia, and what we can do to protect them. Our Stem class is doing everything they can, to help the bighorn sheep. If we don’t do anything we could lose this iconic species.
